Vanna White has disclosed that she only works on game show ‘Wheel of Fortune’ for 34 days per year : ‘But We Film Six Shows a Day!’

Vanna White surprised the hosts of “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show” when she shared that she only devotes 34 days a year to working on “Wheel of Fortune.” Despite her limited schedule, Vanna’s contribution to the show is vital and highly valued by fans.

“We film about 34 days a year,” White said as radio Elvis Duran and Danielle Monaro gasped in surprise. “That’s it. But [we film] six shows a day. Come on… You could feel bad for me.”

“I do not feel sorry for you one bit,” Duran quipped back. “That sounds like a great job.”

“That’s six different dresses a day,” Monaro added, to which White replied: “It is!”

When asked if that meant she gets 331 days off a year, White answered: “Yeah, I guess so. I’ve never looked at it like that.”

During her interview with Duran, White admitted that “of course” working alongside Seacrest has been an adjustment after her four decades of co-hosting “Wheel” with Sajak.

“Pat decided to retire. I saw him a few weeks ago,” she said. “He looks happy. He looks great. Ryan took over, and he’s doing a great job. He told me, ‘No one could ever replace Pat Sajak. I’m just here to fill in.’”

“Wheel of Fortune” is currently in its 42nd season.
