This week’s heat wave is being caused by model Mikayla Demaiter as she shows off her fit body and glowing tan in yet another social media post.
Having more than 3.2 million Instagram followers and 2.4 million TikTok followers, Mikayla Demaiter, 23-year-old former ice hockey star, has become one of the sport’s most prominent social media stars.
With one leg planted in front of the other, Mikayla posed with her hands on her hips, displaying her curvy figure in a tiny purple dress paired with a beaded necklace.
Adding a caption to the carousel full of photos, she said “Sorry for the heat wave.”
In no time at all, she was flooded with adoring compliments from her online fans. Over 109k likes and thousands of comments were left on the post by Instagram followers. One fan wrote: “I’m prepared to handle it”
“You’re a total firestorm. No wonder the last few years have been the hottest ever recorded,” one follower commented.
Third follower teased, “You are the definition of beautiful. The only heat wave that makes everything better.”

Last week, Mikayla stunned her followers when she shared a few photos of herself wearing a stunning navy blue dress with a plunging neckline.
In the first photo, she held her hair up to add elegance to her statement look. She paired her look with pearls and dangling earrings.
According to the caption she wrote on her Instagram account: “wearing a dress because it’s always a special occasion when i go out”
She received a flood of thirsty, loving, and adoring comments from her fans with over 130k likes and 3k comments . One fan was quick to react and gushed: “Beautiful my princess of Disney, my queen, my doll… Beautiful like always ❤️”
In an Instagram post late last month, Mikayla Demaiter posted a few shots from her latest outfit, which consisted of a brown long-sleeved crop top with a plunging neckline and a short striped skirt.
Some pictures show her clutching a brown Louis Vuitton bag as she poses, decked out in gold jewelry.
She wrote in her caption, “providing you some new lock screen photos, granted you may never want to unlock your phone… 😜”.
Over 80k likes and a thousands comments were left on the post by Instagram followers. One fan wrote: “Absolutely stunning my friend hugs” . Another added: “Mikayla , you always have to prove me wrong, what I mean by that is I can’t ever think you can get any sexier and you all do yourself every freaking time” .

In June 2020, she announced on social media that she was quitting the sport after having been a goaltender in her past.
In her letter, she wrote : “It is time to say goodbye. It is time to turn the page and move to the next chapter of my life, for the first time you will not be my number one focus.
“I want to thank you for the places we’ve gone together. I also want to thank you for all the friends you have made me.
“My family sends their best as well. I know they will definitely miss seeing us together.
“I am excited for the future because everything you have taught me will allow me to succeed.
She added that “There will still be early mornings, new adventures and new friends, and I hope that I embrace them with the same love and passion I did for you.”
