Paige Spiranac has hit back at trolls calling her hole-in-one a fake, insisting that it is a real and spectacular feat.
Known for sharing golf tips and glam photos of herself on social media, Spiranac was recently included on the Maxim Hot 100 list for her influencer career.
Currently, she has 4 million followers on Instagram, 940,000 followers on X and 1.5 million followers on TikTok.
She took on the JetFuel Challenge on her YouTube channel, where she tried to hole-in-one 50 balls.
In Paige’s 49th attempt, with the help of golf instructor Gavin Parker, she produced a moment of magic.
She wore black leggings, a black top, sunglasses, and a bright pink iron for the shot.
After watching the ball land on the green, then roll slowly towards the hole via a slight deflection off a pebble, she got louder and louder: “Yeah, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on.”
After the ball finally fell into the cup, the star asked: “Did it go in?” before receiving confirmation.
The video was posted by Paige on Thursday, with the caption: “Golf snobs: ‘She can’t play’. *Makes hole in one on camera*”
The comments reacted by suggesting the footage was edited and “totally manufactured.” One person pointed out that she was technically standing in front of the tee box when she played the shot.
After the backlash on social media, Paige clarified the footage was genuine. She wrote: “A bunch of comments calling my hole-in-one fake.
“It’s real and spectacular.
“But jokes aside anyone in the golf industry knows our careers would be over if we ever faked a hole-in-one video.
“No one would ever be dumb enough to risk that.
“We take pride in showing genuine reactions. The good and bad.”
In another X post earlier this week, Paige Spiranac asked her millions of followers to rate her golf swing.
Her drive went straight down the middle and she triumphantly smiled at the camera before walking away.
One fan said: “You are a super elite golfer. Your swing is amazing. You are just a bit far from your core for a male to mimic, but you have a damn good swing.”
In one wowed comment, the fan wrote: “9.5 and light years ahead of mine.”
Another said: “Excellent, best I’ve ever seen.”
- The black see-through turtleneck that Paige Spiranac wore dazzled fans, who called it ‘the new category of golf chic’
- With a skimpy Santa dress, Paige Spiranac leaves nothing to the imagination as fans tell her, ‘all I want for Christmas is…’
