Mikayla Demaiter posed on a hammock wearing a red and white checkered bikini that resembled a picnic blanket on Thursday.
Having more than 3.2 million Instagram followers and 2.4 million TikTok followers, Mikayla Demaiter, 23-year-old former ice hockey star, has become one of the sport’s most prominent social media stars.
She is also a student at the University of Western Ontario.
In the caption, she wrote, “Life always seems like a picnic when I’m around.”.
As fans swiped through the carousel, they were treated to photos of her holding her long blonde hair back and posing against a tree.
“It’s not a picnic though, it’s a feast,” commented one fan.
“Absolutely beautiful,” another follower replied.
“I have been to a lot of picnics, but I have never seen such a beautiful scenario before,” another fan added.
“This is a picnic. And my focus would not be on the food or beverages, but on YOU!” another follower argued.
In another post from earlier this month, Mikayla Demaiter posed in a figure-hugging pink dress while sitting on a billiards table in a unique way.
The caption of Mikayla’s Instagram post read: “When you play pool against me even if you lose you still will feel you won.”
Fans were left in awe after storming the comments’ section. One wrote: “Feel like a winner just looking at you.”
The second wrote: “Wow pretty in pink.”
The third said: “Gorgeous!”
And that one wrote: “Beautiful as always, Mika!”
In June 2020, she announced on social media that she was quitting the sport after having been a goaltender in her past.
In her letter, she wrote : “It is time to say goodbye. It is time to turn the page and move to the next chapter of my life, for the first time you will not be my number one focus.
“I want to thank you for the places we’ve gone together. I also want to thank you for all the friends you have made me.
“My family sends their best as well. I know they will definitely miss seeing us together.
“I am excited for the future because everything you have taught me will allow me to succeed.
She added that “There will still be early mornings, new adventures and new friends, and I hope that I embrace them with the same love and passion I did for you.”
